Berlin Has Five New Deep Tech Stars!

Stephan Schwarz, Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises has presented the Deep Tech Award winners in 2022 in the categories AI, IoT/Industry 4.0, Blockchain, IT Security and Social/Sustainable Tech.
Out of 70 participating startups/companies five were selected by a jury of experts, which could achieve great innovation in their respective fields. In addition to recognition, the winning companies received 10,000 euros.
The Deep Tech Award 2022 is an initiative of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises as part of the “State Initiative Project Future” and the “Deep Tech Berlin Campaign”.
Since 2015, the Deep Tech Award has been presented by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises to small and medium-sized companies with innovative and application-based solutions in software and hardware. The competition is endowed with 50,000 euros in prize money and is co-funded by the “European Regional Development Fund” (ERDF).
